Wednesday evening ..a Bolts Law there & back out of Edmundbyers ..a stiff in yer face breeze on the outward leg had me looking forward to a wind assisted return ..and it didn't disappoint .
Had a chat with the red grouse I came upon ..and told them to keep a low profile on Sunday !

Had a great day yesterday, XC ride to blåstenen here in jämtland, theb bike park laps in the afternoon. I slept well last night
Being on gardening leave in the summer has it's advantages 🙂
Got this Intense Sniper to play with for a while, which is great fun for an XC bike.

Snuck out today my ‘local’ woods. It’s a big clover shaped wood and there are loads of walking trails in there and a few MTB ones. First time today I found this one. All the jumps before had been 2 foot or less. This one was a bit bigger 🙂
Good to get out. I don’t ride here much as it gets wet very quickly and dries out very slowly. But it’s been fab this summer. 20 mins ride from home 90 mins getting lost. 20 mins home. Perfect!

Off all week with my kids
Got out on local trails on Monday
Then drove up to Sherwood Pines for a lap and a sausage roll yesterday (click the right arrow on the instagram embed below for videos)
No pics but my Mrs went out on her road bike for the first time in two years and 'really enjoyed it and realised how much she missed it' on Tuesday night.
She was so surprised how bad the roads were........
My only ride of the week so far, pootle into work, braw views of Arran and Ben Lomond, bit of Sigur Ros on the earplugs, keep the pace doon.

Three cat4 hills, two PBs and a 3rd best, so nice for the temp to drop enough to do some power training.
Couldn't get out yesterday due to dentist and then a big pub lunch and today is rained off until perhaps around 1700/1800 (having got up too late and too groggy to get out early).
