usually get something from the coop, you can get a whole cake 😀 for the price of a slice from the cafe. Squidgey chocolate ftw.

Same as Tom. I am, and I am aware this sounds sanctimoniousness, out to ride my bike when I am riding my bike.

I can have cake when I get home...or before...or before and after 8)

I am quite partial to the cake on Leith Hill. Favourite is the ginger cake but I'll take the coffee cake as a sub if needed.

Date & Coconut at Marquis Drive. I also have the recipe from them so make an enhanced version myself for big days out.

I am thinking that you really need a cafe for a mid-ride cake as otherwise it would get mashed up with all the radical sickness of a downhill rock garden nature I normally experience.

Has to be carrot cake, and then some Galloway cake for post ride coffee and cake bit.

Same here, apart from when I push back up to the top when I can't be arsed to ride it 😳 Don't really like riding on a full stomach either, makes me feel sick.

cake and socialising on the bike is relaxing and de-stressing to me, non stop on the gas riding is for racing and i'm a million miles away from that but i see your point + it leaves more cake for us fatties! 🙂

Have to ask, is there actually any off-road riding over that way? (used to commute that way)
I know I used to pass a bridal path further out of the village toward Droitwich but I thought the area was generally pretty poor otherwise (or is this pure cheekiness).

No mid-ride cake for me, I wouldn't get going again, for me it purely an end of ride event.

Edit: Hummerlicious that is a lot of cake!

@Yunki

[s]How much?[/s]

Dammit.

For celebration cakes I offer free delivery anywhere in Liverton and Newton Abbot.
I charge £10 to Exeter, and will price anywhere else, but I do not deliver outside of Devon, unless by special arrangement.

Mid ride cake - anything that doesn't mind getting a bit squished in the camelback.

Post ride cake (and icecream too) - anything from the Cake Hotel in Maribor, Slovenia (Pohorska Kavarna? sp? something like that anyway)

While I am in no way anti chocolate brownies, can they in fact be classified as "cake?" I think of them more in terms of a "slice" or an offshoot of the scone genus.
