Santa brought me a lovely Nike "mid-layer" for Xmas, however it's really thin and not what I was after for riding (It's a runners technical but fashion top and has some weird thumb holes on the sleeves).

I'm looking for something to replace my Icebreaker I bought in New Zealand about 8 years ago which has been awesome but looking at the costs they are a little out of the range.

Had a look and don't want anything with a pocket etc on the back just literally a warm midlayer to go over a base layer or two and under a waterproof.

Any suggestions?

Cheers in advance.

A thin Cheap fleece? I generally wear a cotton t-shirt, and Wear either a fleece over the top or a light weight waterproof.. Sometimes all three but it rarely gets cold enough.. So typically either the fleece or the waterproof is in the back pack depending on weather.
