Anybody using Microshift shifters care to comment on their experience? I'm idly interested in these (coupled with a wide range Deore cassette and Shimano MTB shifter).

A 40t NW chainring coupled with an 11-51 Deore cassette would give me a slightly less hassle, slightly greater range set-up than the current 2x9 speed 40/28 11-36 setup on my monstercross thing.

I have microshift on my ebay plastic fantastic its quite old though so not sure how relevant. They work fine, quite clunky shifts but in a positive sort of way, you know you've changed gear

I have them on my Vagabond, which is 2x10 Deore. They work well, I occasionally knock them with my knee, but not really an issue.

Bar end shifters, presumably.

The bar end shifters are pretty agricultural in terms of feel to the Shimano bar end shifters I guess it's a case of how desperate you are for gear range?

11speed Ultegra RX with Shimano bar ends works a dream for me over 11x42 with a 36t up front without a b link or anything else, the GRX cage is so much longer I could imagine you'd be able to comfortably get away with a much bigger cassette and a Shimano bar end shifter?

Not a huge fan of bar end shifters, hence my interest in the SB-M110 design. No great rush, just something to consider over the winter while I grind my current setup to paste.
