Anyone ever replaced a chin guard, if so are they size specific?

In short fancy an para helmet, found one without the chin guard and found a chin guard on eBay. But wondering if there could be a comparability issue!

Any ideas?

Cheers,
John.

I'd be worried about why the helmet doesn't come with a chin guard (unless the seller lost it or similar)..

That reminds me I was supposed to get back to you..I've got one sat in its box in the loft. I'll dig it out now and find out the size fits a mediumish shaped head...

Right its a large 58/61 silver with black guard. It's probably 4 or 5 years old bought for an alps trip but whilst out there I bought a full face. Couple of small scuff marks on the guard and visor where it has been put on the floor nothing major at all. Spent the rest of its life in a box in my loft.

If you,d like photos I'll fire up the pc and send them across.
