Have a few days planned based in Merthyr Tydfil. Obviously going to pay Bike Park Wales a visit, but are there any 'must do' XC routes based out of Merthyr?

The most obvious one has to be the Gap route , google it it's been talked about loads over the years and can easily be done from merthyr .
