Went for an early blast round cwmcarn, struggled up the climbs but set 2 new PB's on the descents! Hoping to get outing the Beacons tomorrow, probably an easy spin first thing.

Just back from a quick loop around the Skirrid with a detour to the top and along the ridge. Very foggy and a bit of a mud-fest in part but really enjoyable nevertheless. Loads of people walking up it today too which I found amazing, given the day and the weather.

Yep, managed a sneaky 2 hours this morning at Wareham forest, the trail pixies have been in making it good after the forestry commission decimated the place!

Wanted to do a trail run but my ankle is all swollen so it'll be a gentle road ride instead this afternoon

Ah, happy holiday memories of the Gannel/ estuary.

There was a family having a morning dip, given the unseasonal weather I was tempted to join them but I didnt pack my trunks!

A quick 30 km with the missus (on the road, which was almost off road given the filth on it) back in time for Turkey.

Got out on the hybrid for a short loop involving canal towpath, bit of bridleway and bit of road.
Loved it.

Merry Xmas.

@bustaspoke - it’s a good job you didn’t ride anything long, low and slack on that road 😉

Nice!😁

I was worried you might ground something too progressive on the humps!

Away with work but have some time off today so did a wee 20k cycle in the gym while reading to pass the time. Might go back tonight for another while but todays lunch may have put a halt to that idea!

Rode all morning out from the doorstep in Leeds over Ilkley Moor

Built one of those single-speed left-over-parts bikes on Sunday so took that out. Well, I have two chainrings so can change gear with my hand if I stop.

I really love this simplicity

Just a quick out and back to Frankenstein's Castle

Well not that quick tbh. Bit chilly on the descent.

Had a quick blast round the 2019 UCI Worlds finishing loop in Harrogate
Confirmed my thoughts that there are a few corners with the potential for causing chaos to a peloton going flat out. Especially if it’s a bit damp

Down in Cornwall bike-less, but I have my running shoes - ran from Sennen Cove to Cape Cornwall and back. Not setting any speed records because 70% gradients and cliffs if you get a footing wrong. Barely any other people and some bangin tunes on my new headphones- glorious

60km on the road today , probably try the same tomorrow. Rode QECP sunday , 3 laps of the new improved blue, but it was very muddy and I came home caked top to toe. Roads lovely and quiet and dry! today

Took the fatty out for a spin. Loads of families out pretending that they like walking in the country. Lots of 'ooh, those are big tyres' comments. Muddy as frick. Spot on. 👍

Did about 1hr 45 in the dark up Rivi yesterday eve. Used to it being quiet out on Xmas day but it was utterly dead.
Surprisingly mild out, and really low cloud so it was just a white fog at the top.
Popping out for an hour to run an errand on the road bike this morning.
