looks like a pretty decent spec for the cash.. am surprised in comes in at that weight
I would be surprised if it came in at that weight 😀
Looks good value
Stick pedals on and its over the 20lb mark. Still great value !!
19lbs?
Hardly a triumph of lightweightedness really? A sensible spec, a good weight, why the arousal?
@crikey do you reckon you could spec a complete road bike lighter for 600 quid brand new?
Not having a go.. just intrigued..
This is one of the reasons I'm surprised at that weight (relative to their other bikes)...
According to planet X..
http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBPXSLPULT2/planet-x-pro-carbon-shimano-ultegra-road-bike
Weight: 8.04kg / 17.01lb
http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBPXRT58ALUTIA/planet-x-rt-58-alloy-shimano-tiagra-road-bike
Weight: 8.84kg (19lb09oz)
Given that the steel framed 753 bike with mid nineties Ultegra and 32 spoke Mavic open pro wheels I used to race on came in at 21 lbs, I suspect it would be easy.
Relax. Weight isn't all it's cracked up to be.
