Any idea what these are like, in either direction:

...looks promising on the OS as a descent especially

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=350907&Y=155825&A=Y&Z=115

...doesnt really go anyway, unless you are being cheeky in the Bottom

...got a feeling this one is basically a field and might have been diverted at the north end.

And as a reward for answers, there's an amazing bluebell area exactly here with enough of a singletrack trail for a picture..

To the right as you leave the woods climbing up towards Tynings.

1. Singletrack across a field. Perfectly fine as a fast blast down. moderate draggy climb.

2. Rough Doubletrack. A nice way to make 'off-road' distance as opposed to tarmac milage. Undulating with slight drop to W.

3. I've not done this one. Buzz has. Standard farm double track and a locked 5bar gate at the end AFAIR.

4. Arrow points just to the south of the WMW. Nowt there AFAIK, but if you mean the WMW, then its gravelly fireroad with some fixed limestone protruding in places. Fast descent E to W, easy climb W to E. Sees heavy traffic.

What Scienceofficer said.

2. Worth including if you plan a cheeky raid in the Velvet Bottom
3. A sort of linky farm track if doing the Mendip Marathon loop - you have to lift over the gate at the end. Farmer not too bothered.
4. I think you mean the gravelly loop access road - can be a useful way of getting back to the wood if you pedaled up from Lillypool Cafe

These are not the trails you're looking for 😉

Thanks guys, shame about (1), looks like it has potential on the map, steep with what could be switchbacks, well almost...

(4) is my link to the bluebells in the pic, found them by chance yesterday.

BTW - I think I know most of the trails I'm looking for, just looking for some extras!

(1) is a great decent with two turns not really swicth backs loose and stony in parts, fantastic views and fairly steep and is a challenging climb one of my favorites.

Got to be ridden if you have not done it, I have to be on form to clear the climb. I think the other guys have ridden straight down which is on grass, keep east and follow ridge

'tis a good climb mendippete, prefer it as a climb than a decent.
