Anyone any experience of this android phone /gps ?
Need both a new phone and a new gps and already use memory map on old system and laptop. I own all the Uk OS maps at 25000 scale on this format and would like to continue using .
I would also prefer taking one device on rides rather than phone AND GPS.
So any recommendations or advice ?

Advice? Take two devices, keeping the phone warm, dry and protected for when you need it.
i use MMtracker [ which uses the same maps
Works very well but as noted a dedicated GPS device is better
My phone is waterproof but i dont want to risk it on the bars oof rad.
Battery life is also pretty poor
That said its great for when the GPS screen is a wee bit small and it zooms faster and easier than my GPS.
the joy of having two is redundancy and its not like either is a massive weight penalty.
I would never use a phone as my sole GPS
