My 'built from bits' 2009 Voodoo Limba has got a mega Exo BB and FSA gossamer chainset, which I had hanging around. Anyhow, the BB has failed. Thing is, they look quite pricey new. They also look identical to Shimano hollowtech II bb's. I'm seeing mixed info online as to weather they are interchangeable. Some say no way, some say yes (with a rubber mallet!). Has anyone got any first hand experience?
Looked at this a while ago with a mates bike, seemed like the general consensus was they were marginally different and a shimano bb would fit but wear out quickly.
