I need a spare mech hanger for the Mrs' 2012 Lush SL. It's the aluminium version, same as a fuel ex. I need the qr version. I can't work out which of the after market (northshorebillet in particular) ones to buy.

The. Hanger will have a part number stamped on it and you will be able to get a replacement from a Trek dealer . Just be aware that you will need a 22mm spanner to change it . Not too convenient if you need to change it on the trail. .

22mm spanner? WTF. That's handy! Nice tip touch I'll take a look at my trail tool options.
@david, I'll double check the part number on the bike and pm you.

I think the Remedy hanger will be for a bolt through axle not a QR . I used a park tools cone spanner in my camelback as it's light and does the job . Check the size though , it was 22mm but they might have changed it .

Remedy used to come with a conversion kit if you wanted QR instead of 142, I always ran 142 hence having a spare...
