Anyone know how to measure travel on Fox forks? This image suggests that full travel would push the o ring to the very top of the stanchions:

However, measuring the stanchions on both a set of Fox 34's and 36's they don't seem to agree to that diagram - 'full travel' seems to be to above the top of the Kashima logo. Full exposed stanchions on a 140mm 34 is 150mm and on a 36 supposedly set to 140mm is 156mm.

I thought I read somewhere that 160 36's only have 157mm of travel? I know mine have never gone over the Kashima writing..

Pretty sure likewise but that probably means I actually need to add another token as I'm bottoming them out when I'd assumed I still had travel left.

(you'd kind of hope Fox would get something as basic as this right in their manuals)
