I was unable to ride today so out of sheer boredom, I made measurements of all key areas of my bike set up.. Things like, brake lever angle/throw, bar height from floor, BB height, cockpit control distances, seat height/reach, spring preload/rebound clicks etc. Absolutely no idea what I will use this info for, just felt I should have it... Any one else done something like this when bored? or worse? bike was already spotless btw..

I find there are websites that keep me occupied at dull moments.

Yeah, perhaps not that exact thing, but I HAVE to take on mini-projects or my mind goes to terrible places. Organise cupboards, clean my tools, clean the TV screen (little one likes to 'clean' it with wetwipes when I'm not looking) etc etc.

Today, I went through the SD card for the MP3 player in my car, deleted all the songs I always skip and added a few more - it took an hour.

If things get really bad - I open my private email account and delete all the unread sort of spam ones I never read - there was 6000 of them once.

You've given me a good idea though, next time I find myself at a loose end I'm going to note all my suspention settings and measure the distance between my grips and my brakes and from the brake lever to the bar to ensure they're all the same - I'm sure historians will discover my notes years from now and will be AMAZED ha ha.

Anyone know a good head doctor?

I keep four position measurements, just like shoe, trouser, chest, hat size really.
