I've asked various people, including the assessor and can't seem to get a straight answer...  Can/should I log key rides from years ago that demonstrate my awesumz or do they need to be within the last 2 years?

The reason I ask is that I've MTBing for ages (30 years) but not done a whole lot in the last year so am a bit light on recent detail.

I wasn't planning on adding loads of old rides, just the key proper significant ones

any views?

About to do the same. I'm not going to use the standard log book format. I never do for assessments like this. I am going to create a personal CV of sorts that illustrates personal and professional experience inc Photos etc. I was told by Dan Cook (BC MB leadership guru) that this was a good idea. It worked for every other outdoor NGB qual I've done so should be good for BC too.

[Shhhhhh]Just make them up.[/Shhhhhh]
L2 leadership is pretty basic and logging your rides is just to show compitency.

And for 5 bonus points, is there such a thing as some software which allows you to plot a route and it tells you the altitude gain?

Seem to remember somebody recommending some recently, but can't find them

I went back about 2 years and that gave me more than enough. If you’re doing natural rides a few times a month they quickly add up. Plus you can put in some trail centres too.
