I know last year you could only get from Verbier to Sarreyer via the gravel Route du Soleil and that the route down into the valley had been washed away. I also know that there has been some work as the road between Champsec and Louvie. Is there currently anyway to get from Sarreyer to Le Chable without going through Verbier.
I was wondering If you could create a loop now. Verbier, Sarreyer, Champsec, Le Chable and then back upto Verbier on a road bike.

For the search, the road is still shut, but I was able to descend a farm track. quite impressive what a "little" stream can do.
