Struggling for braking grip in these dusty dry conditions, was about to order dhr2's but wondering if 2.4 wt would be better than 2.3 on 28mm rim or any another rear tyre suggestions, fast rolling not Magic Mary style, that one is my goto up front but not on rear.
The Hans dampf 2.35 would be great with the Mary on the front.
Has plenty of braking grip and rolls very well.
I can tell you that Maxxis WT measure up spot on with 35mm ID rim, make of that what you will, but I would of thought it may make them a fair amount rounder on your rims if you run pressure close to mine which are a little over mid 20's.
Cheers.
The rim size will be fine for both ime, but the 2 tyres are actually a bit different- the 2.4 has a bit more tread. I'd go 2.4 personally. When you actually maths the difference, there isn't much.
The knobs on the 2.4 are much bigger and more widely spaced than on the 2.3, to the point that I found it surprisingly slow rolling, rather than having an almost magic amount of grip for how fast it rolls. But it’ll certainly brake better in loose conditions.
What rear tyre do you have now?
