I think only the OEMs have stock at the moment - apparently they get their Maxxis tyres direct from China/Taiwan, whilst retailers are supplied by the UK distributor, and that's where the stock shortage lies. I have two brand new ones that came with my Bird Zero AM but they're not for sale!
the Spec Hillbilly is a very similar tyre, so i'll probably give that a go in the 'grid' casing. Cheap Too!
It weighs about the same as a small moon though..
