Hi Chaps,

I've checked the usual suspect - Wiggle, CRC, Merlin, Evans - for Maxxis or Schwalbe deals and they're pretty non-existent. I've never paid £50 for a tyre, always found decent deals, but there appears to be nothing in 650b format reduced.

I'm looking for HR2, DHR2, Magic Mary, Hans Dampf.....

Has anyone seen any deals about?

Cheers

Ricks

Damn - all Europe! Need to get some for the weekend, I've bought from Acycles and BikeDiscount before, and they're great - just takes 4 days to arrive.

Try your LBS? They might be cheapest, but you never know they might just have what you're looking for and you'll help keep them in business for the times you really need them.

I looked everywhere online for a Magic Mary in 27.5 and also tried hopelessy through work,(I work in the industry) Walked into my old LBS in Aberystwyth and low and behold there was one hanging on the wall, when it appeared no else in Europe had any. Sure I paid a few quid more, but I got what I wanted, in time for when I wanted and to top it off I felt good for helping those guys out a little. It's not gonna change the world but hey, every little helps.

What, like one of those times right now?

You want one for the weekend? Go to your LBS and pay for it. Suck it up buttercup.

The fast kiwi was saying last night there aren't many 6fiddy tyres for cheap around at the moment.

Pedals in bruntsfield were saying they had fresh tyre stock in before teh endooro last weekend, think they do wtb, schwalbe and maxxis.

I think you'll have to take your pick between heavily discounted and readily available though!

Bought some Maxxis rubber from Next day tyres and did indeed get them next day. Great service.
