I've bought a 2.4 Maxxis HR2 in a deeply unfashionable wheel size (26") - I want to run it tubeless but dozily failed to get the TR version. A quick google suggests it'll probably be ok but I thought I'd check here to see if there are any prophets of doom.
So the question is should I go to the (admittedly fairly minor) hassle of returning the tyre or bang it on and hope for the best?
Rims are Stans Flows, these are the exact tyres:

Worked for me in the past
It worked very well for me although on LB carbon rims which are fantastic for setting up tubeless. The tyre held pressure no problem and didn't weep sealant through the sidewalls.
I run it on my front 2.6, 2.4 tubeless, works a treat.
not an issue, I bought the 2.4's on purpose as they are more aggressive than the 2.3 TR version. went up on my oozy rims no issue tubeless and a set of flow ex's
