Anyone have experience of running the new high roller 2's tubeless?

Can it be done with mavic XM819 rims and stans tire sealant?

Works great tubeless on Crossmax SX, if that's any use?

works fine for me on stans flow.

be warned that the 2.4 HR2 is BIG compared to the HR1 measurements. Much larger than the 2.34 HR and actually larger than my 2.5 minion DHF.

Nice tyre though... runs well on the back of my Covert with the aforementioned DHF up front 🙂

Thanks guys.

I'll be running them on my covert so good to know there's enough clearance.

My only concern now is the mavic rim is only 19mm internal width and running a 2.4mm might be pushing it. Currently running rubber queens 2.25mm and they are pretty wide. Fancied a change and stiff are selling the HR2's for £27 so just bought a pair. Think I'll try them on the XM819's first and see how I get on.

I've got a set of bontrager wheels with a wider rim that I use for DH and they are 21mm internal width. I've run 2.5mm minion fronts on them no problem.

I run one on the front (I have 3 separate wheels)

One wheel is 321 rim, with a rimstrip
the second wheel runs a Flow rim, again with a rimstrip
the third is a Flow EX rim just taped up

The first two have been fine, no issues. The third has taken some time to seal properly but has eventually settled down (there is no Flow EX rimstrip so I just used tape).

I've got the 3C version on a Stans Flow. It burped once in a race run but I think I'd dropped my pressures a touch too low. It's a seriously good tyre, though. Handles the mud pretty well too, so it's a good intermediate tyre when spikes aren't necessary but you want more grip than a Minion.
