Holla.
I'm planning to run dhf 2.5 WT front and Dissector 2.4 WT rear.
Got a good deal on 36mm internal rims, which is a little larger than what they are optimised for (30-35).
Anyone experienced this type of thing? Obviously slightly squarer profile.
I wouldn't blink about running a wide tyre on a narrow rim.
Am I being silly to worry about this?
Could go 2.6/2.5 instead, but quite a big increase in volume, I'll wager (taller casing I believe)...
The WT tyres were originally for 35mm rims - later the marketing was changed to 30-35mm rims.
Interesting. Maybe too few people had dead wide rims...
