Just got some forks with this

Do I just need one 6mm allen wrench or two to remove the wheel in the field?

Just not sure if I'd prefer a regular Maxle with a handle

Just one, it's just a big bolt. Big upgrade imo, the lever has a habit of snapping off and really, what benefit is it?

Just one, my forks also have the maxle stealth. I have to remove my front wheel to get the bike in my car so I'll probably be swapping to a normal maxle at some point.

My Hightower came with one (never has one before). Find it just as easy as I've always got a multi-tool to take it out. Plus I think it looks nicer 🙂

a few months ago my lever and a quarter of the rod snapped... been using a stealth I don't take my front wheel off often but the multi tool works fine. Plus my rear is a bolt through anyways.

Always swap mine to stealth front and rear, just leave a 6mm in the boot somewhere. No worrying about lever position, lighter, looks better, seems more secure too.

I have a normal maxle 15x110 on my pike if you want a swap. I never take the front wheel off so its no use for me.

I begrudge spending the £30 on a bolt form SRAM.
