[Closed] Maxle lowers with QR wheel?

I've not ventured into the world of Maxles before, but to solve my broken Rebas I've just (hopefully) secured an appropriate set of new lowers for a bargain price, but they have 15mm Maxle fittings rather than QR 9mm.

Can I get away with (somehow) using the QR wheels with these lowers (perhaps with some sort of adaptor), or will I need to invest in a new wheel (or hub) too?

Current wheels are Mavic Crossride as supplied with the bike, so not brilliant wheels in any event.

I'm pretty sure if you pull the qr end caps off the hub it'll take a 15mm axle as it is, no new gubbins needed

Cheers, was hoping that might be the answer!

Got my Mavics confused - current wheels are Crossone which I think are dedicated QR hubs based on a brief close inspection tonight.

I'll post photos on the thread in case I'm mistaken.

Hopefully this links to three photos of the current hubs.

they look QR only to me. You can use an adaptor if you go the other way - 15mm wheel in a QR fork - but I'd say it's new wheel time.
