Will Maxxis 26 X 2.50 Hookworms fit on a Surly V brake 1 X 1 frame, without removing the mounts, etc.......?

Or is there anything similar or even bigger??

What width? and if you can be ars*d that would be good. Using 2.3 Uff Da's at present, but I fancy something bigger.

Any pics I have seen of that setup, the brake mounts have been removed.

However, I think it may be possible to leave them if you don't fully inflate the tyre until the wheel is in place - so long as the width of the rims are not a problem.

ask this FTMN guy?
These seem like 2.5" and you should be able to keep the mounts if you inflate the tyre after, well, mounting it?
