Currently running a 2.4 Chunky Monkey with at least 5mm clearance either side and 4-5mm below arch.

Appreciate brands size up differently but was wondering if something like a Magic Mary 2.6 or Hillbilly 2.6 will fit with enough clearance for a mudguard?

Anyone running either of these?

Thanks

Running a 2.6 flow snap tyre (cheap from on one) with a 30mm rim and a standard pike.
The molding strings or what ever they are called rubbed at first but all good after that

I found enough room for a 2.5" maxxis short and dhf with a mudhugger

I think it’ll be tight

I’ve just fitted a 2.6MM to 27mm ID rims on a non boost pike

The tyre blows up 2.5” wide
Top clearance (using vernier callipers) 6mm
Side clearance 8.5mm

With 30mm ID rims your side clearance will be lower

Have taken a few pics- too awkward to post on the thread but if you DM me with your email address I’ll send them to you

I’ve run a 2.5 DHF through a non-boost Pike with 25mm inner width rims. You can fit an enduro guard on with that but it’s fairly tight. Tried a 2.6 Hillbilly on a 30mm ID rim and it was very tight. I think with the enduro guard and any element of mud it will be scraping as the wheel goes round.
