Hi,
Novice rider and new to forum. Sorry if this topic has been covered.
Riding a Whyte 905 (2010) HT. Came with Mavic XM-317 rims. Currently using the old Conti M'Kings but thinking of going tubeless when these wear out.
Do I need to go full UST tyre or can I save weight with some form of 'tubeless ready'? The M'King2 now comes with either a heavy UST tyre or a Protection model (tubeless ready?) which I've heard might work?
I've been looking at Maxxis, Arden front and Crossmark rear, both of which do a UST model, but also an EXO Protection model - is the latter tubeless ready and will it work on my rims?
What about Nobby Nic tubeless ready - I've heard they might work?
Any other ideas? - Please bear in mind that I'll be using a foot-pump, not a compressor.
Cheers
