I just have had to strip off the new Mavic Crossline wheelset from my bike as it appears that the entire rear hub is offset on the axle towards the disc side of the axle by about 2mm. This not only puts it too far out of alignment for the caliper even with the caliper bolts undone. The other problem is that the spacer cap on the end of the axle seems to undo the pre load bearing cap when the pedals are turned and the hub engaged. I adjusted the preload again and the same thing happened three times. I dropped an old Hope hub in and hey presto fitted perfect etc etc etc so its got to be the hub/axle spacing.
Shame as it looks like a nice wheelset...
