Hi All,

I have a set of Mavic XA Elite and the freehub is starting to feel a wee bit sticky. Looking at the service video on You Tube I see no bearings in the freehub itself, is this correct or have Mavic just omitted them in the animation. I haven't stripped them yet as I wanted to order new bearings first and, having only used Hope before, they always had bearings in the Freehub.
So, in short, do the Mavic Freehubs have bearings in?

Thanks

Jay

My road ones have bushings. To service them just give them a quick clean and lube with mineral oil brake fluid.

Some Mavic freehubs have an inner bush.

I think XA Elite have an ITS4 freehub which uses bearings (off the top of my head).
