Six years of Mavic wheels and I have snapped my first spoke. I am hoping this is not going to be a regular thing, the wheel is 8 months old and has never been in any crashes. Any way it's away back to Mavic to get fixed as they don't sell single spokes and it's still under warranty. Anyone else had problems with SLRs.

Mavic are some of the most reliable wheels out there, never had problems with any of mine, spokes come in packs of 10, 12 or 14 depending on wheel and can be purchased singly from good mavic stockists.

I had this with Ksyriums - once they started going the only way I got it to stop was a rebuild with new spokes.
