I've heard it isn't!
I'm a 46/ (UK)10.5 - so just wondering what size in mavic mtb shoes??
Only tried on a couple of pairs briefly in a shop but seemed on par with Shimano and Sidi shoes (fairly narrow, you likely need to size up from a trainer).
I where the same size mavic as I do a normal shoe
Gave up on Shimano as my size was too small and the next size up was too big

I'd echo Fuzzy's comments. I had some Mavic Razors and they are quite narrow. Felt ok in shop but 20 mins in to a ride they nipped pretty badly. Only rode in them 3 times and they went on ebay.
46 is 11 IIRC
Anyway I'm 11 and 46 is spot on. Wouldnt say they are a narrow fit - I have narrow (or low volume feet) and they need cranked up tight to close them off
