You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hi all,
Hoping this hasn't been done loads!
I'm currently changing my road bike from 10 to 11 speed.
When I removed the 10 speed cassette, there was a spacer at the back.
I assumed that you remove it to fit an 11 speed cassette?
However, when I did this, the cassette moved very slightly....
Off with cassette, back on with spacer, but the last cog of the cassette doesn't fit.
I'm now thinking you must get a thinner spacer & job done?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Alan.
Spacer off and tighten to the correct torque.
Rule of thumb is no spacer for 11 speed.
Didn't need a spacer on mine for 10 or 11sp if memory serves.
2012 model I believe.
Spacer off and tighten to the correct torque.
Done & it still wobbles....
Think I need one of these:
