I know they are not "tubeless ready", but is it feasible to convert these stock wheels (came with Canyon Nerve AL 6.0) to tubeless using a Stans kit or similar? Not something I've done before, so don't want to shell out £44 on a kit to find its simply not feasible for these wheels anyway.
(Put aside whether it is worth it or not - no current chance of buying a new wheelset, just looking to try to reduce puncture frequency!)
Go the cheaper route - gorilla tape, valve from inner tube (conti ones are good as the core is removable) and some £10 per litre sealant from On-One. Works for me on a variety of rims, some tubeless some not.
Cheers - think if I was a seasoned tubeless kind of guy I might give that a go, but I'm a little cautious! But in principle, which ever kit / equipment I use, it is feasible then?
Might experiment on my crap Rockrider bike first if theoretically "any" set of wheels can be done.
I've gone for a compromise - gorilla tape, stans fluid and new tubeless valves.
Let's see how this pans out...
