I tried some northwave celcius last last year and whilst warm they were far to stif for me and impossible to walk over rocks in.
Anyone tried the either of the above and have any feedback or can recommend something else?
Bump for another try
I've got the Mavic Scree which are the same as the h2o I think. Very happy with them.
Need waterproof socks ideally as the top is a little open.
I bought a pair of the Mavics last winter and have been really happy in them. Warm enough for me with some goods socks on and decent enough for walking in, imo.
I have the slightly older Grant Canions. Great boots. Good grip, comfy, reasonable waterproof (allowing for the big hole in the top), standing up to a lot of wear. However they smell of cat piss when wet. I mean they REALLY smell of cat piss. Something to do with the glue apparently. Trainer odour spray seems to correct it (and it's not me as none of my other boots/shoes are affected ).
