As you may be aware UK spares are no longer available as Crank Brothers no longer support this.
To overcome this I am going to order some stuff from

dirtlabs seatpost spares
If any one wants anything to split the posting cosst then post up her and/or e-mail me.
Dont expect a huge discount over listed and I will share the invoice with everyone.

I also have a pdf guide for full service guide if anyone requires and can help people to fix/repair.
Regards

But aren't the internals to the Joplin posts pretty much identical, so couldn't you order those instead?

What tends to wear out? $25 for a couple of plastic rings & a small bit of brass seems a lot (but I suppose if it keeps the thing working)

On my speedball the only thing I've noticed wear in is the little brass guide block, but for $25 I'm willing to put up with some play! Frankly it's only noticeable when wiggling it by hand, on the bike it's fine.

As a D&T teacher I'm currently looking into making my own on the CNC machines at school - if I manage to get the tolerances right I'll be able to do the guide blocks for pence.

ajantom ...want to buy one (me or you not fussed) and use it as a design template
I agree it is expensive but once wear gets excessive what else can you do but replace the worn guide blcok?

Shouldn't need to buy one, just measure up the old one and the groove it goes into accurately and you should be able to replicate it.

I've only just started in my new school as an NQT, so not much time at the moment! But when I've got my head above water in a few weeks I'll have a look at it.

Hi,
A copy of the service guide here would be great as well. Just came back from using mine in Morzine - superb invention...

Picked up a new Gravity Dropper for my Hummer today as well for 80 quid - nice....

Cheers
Shiny

Shiny - i'd like to know how you get on with your gravity dropper. I have a maverick and now the actual black sleeve has worn (the part which mates with the guide block) and that carries a $55 repair charge, i'm not going to pay that as parts are only going to become more rare and its becoming uneconomical.

The gravity dropper seems to be the best of a bad bunch 🙄

I'm sat on top of Holmbury Hill with a Speedball post that has just died. Not impressed as is the last in a long line of problems. Any idea who I go to for a service?
