Hi all, wondering if anyone can offer any advice, just got a set of these forks so unsure if they are behaving normally ! my forks are running well, Really smooth reassuring squelch sound on compression ! Rebound impact seems minimal, but if I unweight them ie wheelie of lift front sometimes they clunk as they seem to extend - does that make sense and is it normal - assuming its not does anyone know a fix and or where to get serviced ? Thanks

I'm regularly using a set, I get the same clunk (but I don't let it bother me!) I think it comes from a rather fragile bit of rubber that acts as a buffer to stop this noise, it has probably split and fallen off. Item 9 on page 6 of the duc32 fork manual that you can download off the Mav website.

Contact Sideways Tim after April 12 - he'll sort you out.

He's just obtained a supply of Maverick fork spares.

I've used both Tim @ Sideways and Craig Simpson @ Simpson cycle services, both are excellent.
Vist the Maverick forum on mtbr , I'm sure they will sort out your query?
I had a similar clunk after I'd serviced my SC32 forks , they needed air in the camber on the damper side of leg.
Matt.
