Any stock of these in the UK? I need to do a travel change and can't find stock of these tools anywhere. Never mind the steep prices...

If you do struggle for the tools it can be done by using an Allen key in the air valve to undo the footnut and once you have the lowers off I think from memory a park FR5 cassette tool clears the nut at the bottom of the air valve shaft to get the air shaft undone.

I wouldn’t want to use that method regularly as the footnut is aluminium but once in a While will be fine.

The foot nuts undo the opposite way too as they screw in from the inside of the fork.

Easy forks to work on.

Thats a generous offer and I am close to Preston but I've made a start on making my own as well - got the cassette tool done, and looking at how best to turn down a deep 8mm socket next - probably involving a drill a file and some goggles.

I used a lathe I’ve got, to take the edge of the socket down so it’ll fit into the fork, offer still stands if you need help or a borrow of the lathe (the lathe is homemade also and lethal!!!!) 😂

Before I offer to service my mates Mattoc I have 2 questions: 1, I have a cassette tool with a 19.8mm hole through the middle, is this big enough to fit over the air shaft? 2, Can anyone tell me how small the outer diameter of the 8mm socket needs to be?

Made the cassette tool and thin walled socket, Took a look at the forks to check the top cap and see if I needed to modify a 24mm socket or if it was fine as it was, but the IRT system seems to have a different top cap with internal splines for a cassette removal tool. All the travel adjust guides I've watched don't cover this kind of top cap and the Manitou Mattoc contains no useful information apart from the travel spacer orientation. Does anyone know if I just remove the IRT using a cassette tool as per the pre-IRT top caps with the 24mm socket flats? Not 100% sure why I need to remove it anyway - is it just so I can add some semi-bath oil on top of the compression rod?
Thanks for any advice.
