Can anyone tell me how to remove the lower legs on 2001 Marzocchi z1 Drop-Off forks? Can't find any guide on the internet, but I'm generally rubbish at googling etc.

Hmmm, the rebound adjusters of mine are where the lower bolts are in that guide. Guess I'll have to hit them repeatedly with a hammer or something until they come off...

do the knobs come off if you undo a grub screw - usually they do leaving a nut you can then undo.

Have you had a good search around the 'zochhi site? some instructions are on there

I'd looked at the 'zocchi site but not found any actual servicing instructions. Turns out I just needed to pull the rebound adjusters a bit harder then the lowers come off 🙂

I'm a numpty sometimes!

apparently marzocchi were rather cagey about service guides for the 'layperson'. I remember having to trawl through MTBR last year sometime for links to unofficially hosted pdf's of dealer service guides.
