Has anybody any tips on servicing these forks?
I have them on my winter bike and noticed last night that they have kind of 'collapsed' - I am going to check the air pressure tonight, but it looks like they have leaked a spot of oil out of the top of the left fork leg - I presume the seals might be knackered due to the age?
I think windwave will be able to help - they seem to post up pics of old forks they've been sent to servcie every now and again.
They did a quick turnaround on some 44's I sent them recently.
I think windwave still service. If not the manuals are on MZ's site. Those forks are really easy to work on.
Although they are rubbish at answering emails sent to the service address 'cos scarily I asked them the exact same question and have yet to hear.
As they are down the road I'm going to drop in on them.
thanks folks, will have a look on their site.
Might try and get a quote for servicing, but they are on my winter bike which I was supposed to be keeping in a low-cost manner - damn thing is costing me more than the 'new' bike at the moment!
