Hi I have a pair of 2003ish Marzocchi bombers, the ones with the cast M arch, not the earlier cnc'd arch. The bolts for the v brakes ae not needed any more and I want to replace them. Does anyone know if there was a Marzocchi part for this or what size bolt I would need?
Back in the day I got some bolts with a built in brake guide, sorry can't remember the brand. I'd just unbolt the brake boss and see what thread it is. I'd guess an M6 and then buy some short hex head bolts to replace. Mine were literally about 5mm of thread and a shallow head.
Yes, there was a marzocchi part.
The bolts were shouldered and are integral to the structure of the fork.

I think that is the part you need to find.
Ah that's interesting, mine are much shorter. I'll dig them out of the shed tomorrow and take a picture.
I think the ones with cable guides were generic and not really suitable for the 3 piece lowers. They were for frames and forks where the lowers are one piece.
I don't think they are M6 bolts. From memory they where a finer thread. I managed to find some from windwave... I think
