Hi,

posted up a while ago about changing the travel on my forks to 140mm from 160mm. a link was posted on how to do this. i am going to be doing this tonight, quick question - is there a way of checking which travel option they are set at before stripping them down?

cheers

The stantions will be showing a couple of mm more than the travel they are giving. When I say showing I mean in between the crown and the lowers.

For example if they are set at 140mm they will be showing about 142(ish)mm same goes for 160mm.

Take the springs/air out of your judys and compress them I bet they are 120mm travel. A lot of judys had travel spacers that you could move around to adjust the travel on them much like the way you change the travel on Marz forks.
