You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I am looking at upgrading my current fork (very basic Spinner Grind 1). I have seen the Marzocchi 44 TST2 (2009 version) on a number of websites [url= http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=3024 ]. Does anyone have any experience / knowledge of this fork? I have seen it for sale new at £118. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I got a pair from Wiggle last week, can't fault them. You really couldn't do better for the money.
The TST2 is pretty much just a compression lockout, it does alter the compression damping before lockout but not by that much. Rebound damping works well.
Perhaps not the lightest fork out there (but neither are your spinners) but they do have alloy steerer and legs which at the offer price is unheard of.
I'd just buy some.
