Got a new old pair of 33s (2009s I think) and they work pretty well. However, every now and again they “switch off” as if a lockout has been engaged… but they don’t have one.

Any thoughts? Something sticking on the damper perhaps? Hopefully they just need a few rides to loosen them up if they’ve been sat around idle for a few months.

Not going to follow it up with the seller BTW as they are way better than the Manitou Splice that they replaced and I paid a good price for them.

Still nobody? I've twaddled (technical term) with the rebound control and it works OK in the street.

Maybe drop an email to Windwave?
Dan (if he still work there) was very helpful to my numpty questions, though I'd expect the standard "it needs a service" reply too.
