Starting from Hurstwoods. Clockwise or anti-clockwise?

Most people prefer clockwise. That's because you'll climb up the more gradual hills, and ride down the steep descents.
If you're very strong, or very weak, there's an argument for counter-clockwise (with a bit of hike-a-bike for elderly folks like me 😉 )
