So thinking about doing the Mary towneley loop event this year not done it befor something iv allways wanted to do but unsure anyone done it and what advice would you give a frist timer

Take some spare brake pads. I did the mountain rescue event 2yrs ago (very wet) and lots of folk dropped out with no pads left. Did it last year and it was ace, but if its wet it can be fairly harsh.

Never tried it, but doing it next Sunday (9th) on my cross bike. Will let you know how it goes.
