It's a bit late I guess, but I saw this last night and I thought it was a fantastic way to spend an evening. He's a very good speaker, and his story is entertaining, impressive, humbling and with a slightly surprising message. Just one night left, in the MTB hotspot of Tunbridge Wells - go if you possibly can!

Saw him last week in Leeds, was very good I thought, lots of nostalgia, lots of inspiration.

Bumped into a promising young DHer too, Steve Peat, will follow his career with interest.

I missed him in Inverness annoyingly - was keen to go.

What was the message? I'd have gone assuming it would be something about risk avoidance, and not being too conservative just because of a few bad outcomes......and there is life after said bad outcomes.

What was the message?

On the spinal injury ward, every one of the 25 people showed extraordinary strength. So his conclusion is that we all have that strength within us, and maybe we could find a way to access it without breaking our backs..

Redhill is cancelled tonight due to dodgy concrete if you were heading to that.

onewheelgood - I was at Leamington Spa last night as well :o)
He was very engaging (unlike Greg Minnaar) and he's got a great set of pictures, videos and just some great memories.
Thoroughly enjoyed hearing him talk.

Would have loved to go, as he was at Sale Water Park for one show. Spinal Wards are certainly very sobering, spent 6 1/2 weeks on one unable to move. I was lucky. Two 'young-ish idiots' - me in from bike vs car, another lad (middle aged bloke) from running down stairs, but lots of older gents where cancer had spread to their spines and various tumbles due to age related illness - so sad. On the women's ward similar, one lady who paraglided into a wall, but the rest were age related.

Martyn said 12 of the 25 on his ward were there through bicycle or motorcycle incidents.

And one guy who was ‘playfighting’ with his girlfriend.

I had tickets for Shrewsbury but then got the 'Rona so couldn't go in the end 🙁

Tried giving the tickets away but nobody was interested, probably because of the short notice. Screw Covid

+1, went to his talk in Cheltenham last week, thought it was excellent. Entertaining trip down memory lane and thought-provoking. My mum used to work in rehab physio at the centre in Oswestry where he was treated.

I went to see him in Shrewsbury, it was a very good show.  A trip down memory lane and I really enjoyed it from start to finish.

Martyn is a very good speaker.

I missed him in Exeter. Would have liked to have gone, but I wasn’t organised enough.

Gutted that I missed him in Aberdeen, I thought it would be a good evening and this confirms it. I suppose on the positive side at least Mallorca had better weather!

Going to T. Wells tomorrow, looking forward to it. How long is it, what time is it likely to finish?

I went to his Buxton appearance in 2022, sounds like its the same inspiring night this time round. He's a remarkable guy.

Speakers From the Edge are great - saw Hans Rey (while sat next to Peaty), then Peaty on his one. Looks like Hans has some dates in 2024. Recommended. Don't know if its the same at the other venues, but at Buxton Martyn, Hans and Steve were all hanging around in the bar before and after their show just chatting with everyone.
