The thing that got me is the stuff they're doing in pretty brilliant in itself and then you remember that it's actually on a road bike. Just incredible.

Oh - I see - it's now a brand rather than a single product. I get it.

Did no one else spot Martin Hawyes on the rollers?

I didn't recognise him 😳 Haven't heard that name for a while!

I'm sure if I had discs on my road bike I'd be able to do that, too. Stupid callipers! 😡

Worse - it made me realise that road brakes are too rubbish for them to use

Normal MTB brakes are too rubbish for them to use, Trials brakes are a pretty niche product.

To be fair - the first Road Bike Party was on what looks like standard road rim calipers.

GCN - I still don't really know much about this company.

It's mostly just a YouTube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/globalcyclingnetwork

Currently with 128,470 subscribers - so they are doing something right!

Doesn't shout cycling at all.

Maybe they should call it Global CYCLING Network 😀

It is without doubt in-f***ing-credible. Inspirational guys who seem to just ride for the love of it rather than for ego, money or fame. They seem like the best kind of people as well as having super powers!

Watched it on my telly last night and laughed out loud at the brilliance of it all. Great stuff, brilliant ideas, brilliantly executed.

Amazing video. I'm curious why we aren't shown the front flip landing though. Bubble wrap to avoid busted wheels?

I hope Martyn gets better soon, but even if things don't get much better I'm sure he'll be doing back flips in his wheel chair before long!

treaclesponge +1, not even a google search of the site exposes anything, is it for registered (paid) only users?

BTW excellent video, thoroughly enjoyed the Danny & Chris's contributions to finish it 😀

Shared with a few guys at work only to link to "road party part 2" starts with a girl in a small bikini!

The bit that got the most admiration was the fakie nose manual.

I can't even ride that fast down a hill on two wheels on the road bike, never mind one firkin backwards. Great stuff. GWSMA

I know it's already been posted, but generated no discussion, so worth sticking on the end of the original thread

...and nice to see I was right about one bit, 21:46

Maybe, it's certainly possible to take really good footage from a quadcopter - I was trying to make out from the audio, the backing track does seem to be selected there to mask any rotor noise. Though from the layout I think it would be possible to do with a hand held - convenient gap in just the right place.
