Looking into the idea of buying a Marino full suspension and transferring all the items from my Capra onto it.
What's the quality like of the hardware that come supplied on them? What's the ride like? Longevity?etc
I'm not overly concerned by the extra weight of a steel frame to get the geometry I'm after. Would love to hear from current owners.
Cheers
No idea on the bike your asking about buy think your right not to be overly worried about the weight. My rocket is heavy but I find it climbs better than any full sus I've had previously, even without a platform shock.
Hi Tom
I have just had one built, first ride yesterday.
To soon to talk about longevity but happy with the build quality for the price.
I also fount the ordering process straight forward and think about getting a HT made too.

As part of the order you can get Headset, rear axle, chain guide etc.. or not its up to you.
Did you spec your own geometry? How much did it run to for the frame (I assume it came without shock)?
Looks great!
Did you spec your own geometry?
Yes on a spreadsheet, its loosely based around a Large Shan no.5, tad longer, tad slacker and 5mm shorter chain stay.
How much did it run to for the frame
The frame was £470, plus shock which I bought in the UK and I got it spread by my mate in the UK too. I think £470 is the price painted with no shock.
Love the paintwork! I'm thinking of a 29er 120mm in similar vein more trail than enduro.
As you mentioned the paintwork I might as well big up my buddy that did it.

They are on Facebook and Instagram too.
Edit: he painted the forks too.
Nice Scott that's is my local ride where you took those pics. Hopefully will be over that way tomorrow.
What shock did you go with? Is there standard valving that suits the ratio of the frame?
I went for the Öhlins STX22 Air, the frame has a linier suspension curve.
Scott cheers for the reply. What was the manufacturing time frame and delivery costs on it?
