Claudio classic (referring to Brosnan): "This guy's in shape! Well, they all are I guess."

Anyone know what Rob meant by Danny going to a 'square' brand?

Starting to get a bit bored of looking at the racing in the mud now. Be nice to see a dry course, but no idea when that will be.
Anyway I'll certainly be watch the racing tomorrow.

Quite a shake-up of quali results vs yesterday's race. Good to see Tahnee back up there.

He's not Welsh is he? Warner seemed to think so.

How is Cabirou 8s back after the way she was riding yesterday? Can only assume she had a slip-up.

Weird isn't it - Looking at the splits - it seems to be evenly spread, so maybe taking it easy or wrong tyre choice!

Agreed. The footage from the first practice session in the sun was amazing. They were absolutely tanking it and there was some big lines opening up. Now we get to watch yet another slime fest.

I'll still be watching. Probably with a face full of fish finger sarnies, doritos, ice cream, while telling my mrs. what the riders should be doing.

Could've done without that muddy off-camber field at the top yesterday, but otherwise it was fantastic and a real test of skills.

Loved seeing the bikes twitching like salmon coming down that rock garden and Remi Thirion rarely seemed to be going in a straight line.

Yep, I agree. Was all good apart from the first corner lottery that dictated tyre choice.

All you get for qualis is live timing:

No one broadcasts qualifying you can only follow the live timing. I missed it so I'm waiting for the elite men times to go up on Pinkbike.

Edit- yeah what he said ^^. Beaten by seconds

Another edit- I didn't miss it, it just wasn't working on my phone but now it is. https://www.uci.org/mountain-bike/events/mercedes-benz-uci-mountain-bike-world-cup/a >

That's a nice mixed bag. Half of the top ten hungry for their first win and Brosnan long overdue for another.

What's Bruni hiding in his stash box?

And what's the cheeky button for?

Tracks looking much better for today.

And another race, another chance for Greg Minaar to absolutely stomp it. Brilliant run.

Big fan of Greg, helps that he's only 6 months younger than me, reminds me that age means nothing. Hopefully that's good enough for a podium...

Amazing race.

One of the best for years in terms of "that's got to be the winning run, no THAT's got to be the winning run, no..."

😀

Finn Iles through that rock garden made it looks like a smooth bit of track!

Finn Iles looked so quick I thought he must of done enough, only a matter of time before he wins one but you can say that about so many at the moment.

Gwin looking fast again , is he 1 short from equaling Minnaar ? I thought that was gone for him but maybe he has a couple more wins in him .

Obviously it was a lot closer than Friday but I’m amazed the winning time was so similar (3m07.7s vs 3m07.9s), considering the track looked basically dry today.

Different track though. Same start and finish, but quite a few different routes. Given how much faster they were doing some of the shared bits, it was probably a fair bit shorter.

Millie johnsets run is worth watching

That was horrible, she got wash boarded along the rocky ground on her face and shoulder good and proper. Sounded like she was crying on the live feed after it. Can't blame her, poor kid has had a few ugly crashes that would have most people calling it a day!

Tahnees case was fantastic. You’ve got to see it.

Skin of the teeth arse clencher that.

Good to see Vergier get one and Iles looking predatory on the bike. Bodes well for the future with all the new bloods looking sharp and well up for it.
