I'm locked in. Also planning a dinner break after the women's race. I'm thinking fish finger sarnies.

Just 2 to go.

I was so scared for Valli, I'm glad she just stayed on her bike and got a safe run in the bag. I'm sure she'll absolutely destroy the whole field when the conditions are right.

Disappointed for Eleonora to be honest. The woman's racing this year is so much better with some different names on the podium and the times seem to be closer although I might be imagining that.

I thought Cathro's inside the tape was one of the best ones, as he analysed pretty much the whole track rather than just doing loads of 'ghosting' on one section. I thought he wouldn't have time with racing but he's got some minions to help him now I guess

Claudio was doing a lot of guerrilla advertising for Commencal then; He just kept going on about how well Coulanges bike was handling the track

Everytime I see the photographer's at that left hand grass turn just before the finish I'm expecting someone to slide out into them with the speed they are carrying through there

It works on me, I'd love to buy a Commencal Supreme. Coulanges did look very good though. Much less ragged than most.

Fantastic to see Dan Slack do so well, and great to see Luca Shaw in amongst it again. Could be a French 1-2-3 though

How many different leaders in the last few runs? We haven't had a race like that in years.

mightily impressive from Vergier, so much confidence. Its like he's mastered Maribor. Completed it mate. Duprala is scarily fast. Those Frenchies are so so rapidement

And Greenland of course

Talking of swearing, I have been a massive Eleanora Farina fan ever since the World Championships last year in Leogang (I think that was it) when her bike got clogged and she effed and blinded her way down the course. Having been in such a situation (only way slower, and on a way less scary course obvs), that is exactly what it is like.

Saw the ad for Rob Warner's Wild Rides during the race, thought I'd give it a go. It's really good watching. A decent travel programme. 🙂

Young Phoebe Gale going great guns in the juniors. She should be back in my class Thursday mind you given the choices I'd stay out there.

Jordan Williams 2nd in Juniors after making a mistake at the top and pulling over 2 seconds back on the lower half, the times of him and Jackson Goldstone are top 20 in Elite, (Jordan’s qualifying time would of been 8th in Elite) his dad used to drive the uplift at Okeford a few years back and the speed Jordan had back then was insane, when I asked him what line he took though the rock garden once, he just shrugged and said “hit the first rock and jump the whole thing”. A genuinely nice lad.
